The Database
The Hireguard system is based around a member-constructed database of persons and companies who have commited fraud, theft or caused unrecoverable losses. These persons and companies are known as 'Bad Hirers'.
Using this database, members of Hireguard can make accurate risk assesments, protecting themselves from any further potential losses.
The database contains region-based entries from throughout the UK, and can be accessed for free by any Hireguard registered company.

Security
Security is of the upmost importance to us and as such, the entire Hireguard database is encrypted using AES-128, the defacto standard in cryptography.
As well as a fully encrypted database, all incoming connections, either via your web browser or through the API, are encrypted using SSL technology ensuring maximum client/server security and keeping sensitive data away from prying eyes.
